The 63rd year of Junior League of Lafayette was nothing short of extraordinary. To quote the 2020-2021 President Dr. Melanie Fowler, “No other word can justly describe this League year; together, we have tackled extraordinary challenges; achieved extraordinary accomplishments; and grown as extraordinary members.” From the inauguration of our Diversity & Inclusion Committee, awarding ten community grants, and hosting the first-ever virtual Tinsel & Treasures holiday market in the first half of the League year, to celebrating several milestones like the 25th anniversary of Kids in the Kitchen and the 15th anniversary of our cookbook “Something to Talk About” before the League year ended, the organization never slowed down even with the challenges of a global pandemic.
We are proud to showcase the 2020-2021 Junior League of Lafayette Annual Report filled with fun facts and a look back on the most memorable moments of last year.
